Resolving Conflicting Slot Requests
After you request slots, you may encounter conflicting slot requests with other institutions. Resolving conflicting slots with other institutions is optional—but most hospitals will not approve your requested slots until you resolve the conflicting slots.
To resolve these conflicts, first you must track and identify the conflicting slot requests and contact the institution(s) to resolve them. Do this by using the Consortium Calendar in the Administration menu. Second, you must release any slots that the other institution(s) will keep.
To identify slot requests that conflict with other institutions:

On the homepage, select the Administration > Consortium Calendar.

On the Consortium Calendar, do the following:

Use the search options to filter for your relevant slots.

Select Search. This displays slots that match your search criteria.
Note: If a slot ID number is red and a second campus is listed, there is a conflicting slot request.

From the search results, select the name of the institution with which you have a conflicting slot request. This displays a window with the institution’s contact information.

Contact the institution to resolve the conflicting slot requests.
To release slots that conflict with another institution:

On the homepage, select the Search menu icon [
]. This opens an advanced search menu. -
In the advanced search menu, do the following:

From the Status drop-down, select Pending Approval Slots.

Select Search. The slots you requested display on the homepage.

From the search results, select the check box [
] for each slot you need to release to the other institution(s). -
Select Release Request Slot(s).

In the confirmation window that opens, select OK.
